Gull House received an award from the Australian Institute of Architects for the New Houses 2016 NSW Country division.
What we did
Predominantly built in lightweight construction, the house needed careful review against the National Construction Code — lightweight systems bring their own fire, acoustic and structural detailing requirements that differ from conventional masonry.
We provided advice on DA compliance prior to issuing the Construction Certificate, carried out mandatory inspections throughout the build, and issued the Occupation Certificate on completion.
