Privacy Policy

We take your right to privacy seriously and want you to feel comfortable using our website.

This Privacy Policy deals with personally identifiable information that may be collected by us on our site. Private information will hereafter be referred to as ‘Data’. Please also take time to read our Terms and Conditions.

1. Collection of Data

All of our registration, signup and contact processes require valid contact details including contact name and email address. Please note that your details or other submissions on this site may contain other personally identifiable information and, as a result, may appear on this site. Like many websites, we may also automatically receive general information that is contained in our server log files, such as your IP address and cookie information.

2. Use of Data

We may use Data to customise and improve your user experience on this site.

Names, telephone numbers or email addresses supplied to us via this website will only be used for communication purposes with the subscriber. We will not share, trade or transfer your personal details or information with any other parties. You can opt out and choose not to receive communication or information from us at any time.

3. Cookies

We set no cookies of our own, and we do not run advertising on this website. Two Google services used on the site do set cookies:

  • Google Analytics (cookies beginning _ga) — tells us which pages visitors find useful and which they leave. It records the pages viewed, approximate location by region, and the type of device and browser used. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not combine it with any details you send us through a form.
  • Google Maps — the embedded map showing our Byron Bay and Lismore offices, which appears on the contact, locations and service pages. Loading that map sets cookies from Google.

What Google does with the information it collects is governed by its own terms rather than this policy — see Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and how Google uses cookies (opens in a new tab).

If you would rather not be measured, you can opt out without losing access to anything on this site:

  • Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab), which stops Google Analytics on every site you visit.
  • Block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings, or browse in a private/incognito window.
  • Turn on your browser's “Do Not Track” or tracking-protection setting.

None of these will stop the website working. Nothing on this site requires cookies to function.

4. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We have the right to change our Privacy Policy. You will be notified of any substantial changes via email.

5. No guarantees

While this Privacy Policy states our standards for maintenance of Data and we will make efforts to meet them, we are not in a position to guarantee these standards. There may be factors beyond our control that may result in disclosure of Data. As a consequence, we disclaim any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of Data.

We accept no liability for any loss or damage a person suffers because that person has directly or indirectly relied on any information stored on this server.

6. Contact information

If you have any questions about this Policy or our website, please contact us or email info@ecbc.au.
